Taryn Cornelssen is a dedicated and compassionate child psychologist with a strong educational foundation and a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families. Her journey into the field of psychology began with a Bachelor of Education degree, where she developed a deep understanding of how children and adolescents learn and grow. This foundation inspired her to delved further into the complexities of mental health and emotional well-being, leading her to pursue a Master of Counselling degree and additionally, a Doctor of Psychology degree. 

Taryn has many years of experience working with children and adolescents in mental health facilities, schools, and private practice. She primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques in her counselling approach. She enjoys working with youth, parents, and families who are struggling with a variety of challenges: ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, social skills deficits, learning challenges, parenting skills, and behavioural challenges.
